For Purity of Soul
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your Son, we beseech You that, as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son, You did preserve Her from all stain of sin, so too You would permit us, purified through Her intercession, to come unto You.
Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
Meditation
O most pure Virgin Mary, conceived without sin, from the very first instant you were entirely immaculate. O glorious Mary, full of grace, you are the Mother of my God and my advocate before the throne of the Most Holy Trinity.
Your soul was never stained with even the slightest shadow of sin. From the first moment of your conception, you were filled with sanctifying grace and the Holy Spirit made His dwelling in you.
Prayer
O Mary Immaculate, help me to purify my soul from all sin. Obtain for me the grace to hate sin above all things and to live in the state of sanctifying grace. May I be preserved from every stain that would separate me from God.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Closing Prayer
O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven. Pray for us and obtain for us from Him the granting of my petition if it be the Divine Will. Amen.
