Reflection

St. Charbel was born Youssef Antoun Makhlouf in Bkaakafra, Lebanon, in 1828. From his youth, he was drawn to prayer and to the example of hermits who lived for God alone. His vocation began quietly, in ordinary family life and in the hidden movements of grace.

God still calls souls in quiet ways. He invites us to listen beneath noise, fear, and hurry.

Prayer

St. Charbel, help me to hear the Lord's voice with a willing heart. When God asks for trust, give me courage. When He invites me to conversion, help me not to delay. Pray that my life may become an answer to His love. Amen.

Prayer for St. Charbel's Intercession

St. Charbel, faithful monk and priest, you sought God above every earthly comfort. Pray that I may trust the Father, love Jesus in the Eucharist, and listen faithfully to the Holy Spirit.

Intercede for all who are sick, burdened, or far from peace. May the healing mercy of Christ touch our bodies, minds, and souls.

St. Charbel, pray for us. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
