For knowledge of my angel
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
Angel of God, who by divine Providence has been appointed to be my guardian, enlighten me, guard me, govern me, and defend me.
You who are always in the presence of God, present my prayers before His throne. Protect me from all danger to soul and body.
Be my faithful companion on the journey of life until I reach the Father's house. Amen.
Reflection
God has assigned a guardian angel to each person from the moment of conception. Your angel knows you perfectly, loves you, and is always at your side. Jesus said: 'Their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father.'
Daily Prayer
Angel of God, my guardian dear, help me to know you better. May I become aware of your presence at my side. Teach me to invoke your help at every moment. Increase my devotion to you. Amen.
Closing Prayer
Holy Guardian Angels, pray for us.
Angel of God
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
