Our Lady of Guadalupe, you carried Jesus in your womb. Protect all unborn children from abortion and harm. Convert the hearts of those who would take innocent life. Comfort women in crisis pregnancies and provide them with alternatives. May we build a culture of life that cherishes every child from conception to natural death. Amen.

Mary appeared to Juan Diego, a poor indigenous man, not to the rich and powerful. She identified herself with the poor and marginalized. Her message is for all, but she has a special love for those whom society overlooks and oppresses.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the poor, open my heart to see and serve the marginalized. Help me to recognize Christ in the poor, the immigrant, the oppressed. Give me courage to stand with those whom society rejects. May I work for justice and dignity for all people. Amen.

Juan Diego called himself 'a nobody' and felt unworthy to carry Mary's message. Yet Mary chose him precisely because of his humility. She told him, 'Am I not here, I who am your Mother?' These words remind us to trust in Mary's care and to accept whatever mission God gives us.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, you chose the humble Juan Diego to be your messenger. Teach me humility. Help me to see myself as I truly am before God - small yet beloved. May I trust in your maternal care and accept whatever mission God has for me, no matter how inadequate I feel. Amen.

This miracle continues to draw millions to Mary and through her to Jesus. On this final day, we renew our devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, your miraculous image has brought countless souls to your Son. Deepen my devotion to you. Help me to turn to you in every need. May I spread devotion to you, especially under this title of Guadalupe. Lead me always to Jesus. Thank you for your maternal care during these nine days.
