The Brown Scapular is a sacramental given by Our Lady to St. Simon Stock in 1251 with the promise: 'Whosoever dies wearing this scapular shall not suffer eternal fire.' Today we thank Mary for this gift and ask her protection for all who wear it.

Prayer

Dear Lady of Mount Carmel, thank you for the gift of the scapular, your special sign of love and protection. We ask you today to protect all those who wear your scapular. May we always be faithful to our commitment and find in you a loving Mother who leads us to Jesus. Amen.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart, to help me in my necessity [mention your request]. There are none that can withstand your power.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us!

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
