Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You chose to manifest the presence of Your Mother and the saints to the people of Knock in a time of trial. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Knock, grant us the grace to persevere in faith and hope, especially in our difficulties.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
On August 21, 1879, during a terrible famine, Mary appeared at Knock to comfort her suffering Irish children. Though she spoke no words, her presence brought hope and healing. She remains Ireland's heavenly mother.
We pray for Ireland and for the renewal of faith in that land.

Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, bless your beloved Ireland. Renew the faith of her people and bring them back to your Son.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
