Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O God, who strengthened the Bishop Saint Anthony Mary Claret with wondrous love and patience in evangelizing peoples, grant, through his intercession, that, seeking the things that are Yours, we may earnestly devote ourselves to winning our brothers and sisters for Christ.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
Anthony Claret was one of the Church's greatest missionaries. He founded the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Claretians) and preached countless missions. His zeal for souls was inexhaustible.
Missionaries bring Christ to the world. We pray for all missionaries and for the spread of the Gospel.
