For Trust in God's Mercy

Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer

O God of mercy, You revealed to St. Faustina the depths of Your love and called her to spread the message of Divine Mercy to the world. Through her intercession, help us to trust in Your mercy and to be merciful to others.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Meditation

Jesus told St. Faustina: 'The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy.' No sin is too great for God's mercy. Jesus asks only that we come to Him with trust.

Faustina herself struggled with doubts about her worthiness, but she learned to trust completely in God's love. Her motto became: 'Jesus, I trust in You!'

Prayer

St. Faustina, you learned to trust completely in God's mercy. Help me to let go of my doubts and fears and to trust that God loves me despite my sins.

Prayer to St. Faustina

O St. Faustina, you received the extraordinary grace of being the apostle of Divine Mercy. You faithfully recorded Jesus's words and images, giving us the chaplet, the image, and the feast of Divine Mercy.

Help me to trust completely in God's mercy and to show mercy to others. Pray that the message of Divine Mercy may spread throughout the world, bringing peace and conversion to all.

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

St. Faustina, pray for us. Amen.
