Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who gave us the Bishop Saint Bonaventure as a minister of salvation, grant, we pray, that we may be enlightened by his teaching and inflamed by his charity.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
Bonaventure was one of the greatest theologians of the medieval Church. His works combine intellectual rigor with spiritual depth. He is called the 'Seraphic Doctor' because of his burning love for God.
He shows us that true theology is not mere academic exercise but a path to encounter God. We pray for all theologians and scholars.
Prayer
St. Bonaventure, patron of theologians, bless all who study sacred doctrine. Help them to combine learning with holiness and to serve the Church through their scholarship.

Prayer to St. Bonaventure
O seraphic St. Bonaventure, you united profound learning with burning love for God. Obtain for me the grace to seek wisdom that leads to holiness and knowledge that inflames the heart with divine charity.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St. Bonaventure, pray for us. Amen.
