In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who gave to the young Saint Dominic Savio an outstanding love of purity and the gift of leading others to You, grant through his intercession that we may burn with holy love and help others find their way to heaven.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
Dominic Savio was only 14 when he died, yet he is a canonized saint. His life proves that youth is no barrier to holiness. His motto was 'Death rather than sin!' and he lived with remarkable fervor.
Young people can achieve great holiness. Dominic encourages them not to wait until later to begin serving God wholeheartedly.
Prayer
St. Dominic Savio, patron of young people, intercede for the youth of today. Help them to choose holiness and to resist the temptations of our age.

O holy youth Dominic Savio, who achieved sanctity in such a short life, help me to use well the time God gives me. Teach me that holiness is possible at any age and in ordinary circumstances.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
