For love of the Passion
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who made the virgin Saint Gemma Galgani a living image of Your crucified Son, grant through her intercession that we may share in the Passion of Christ and rejoice in the revelation of His glory.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
From her earliest years, Gemma had a profound devotion to Christ's Passion. She meditated constantly on His sufferings and desired to share in them. Eventually, she received the stigmata—the wounds of Christ in her hands, feet, and side.
Gemma did not seek these extraordinary graces but accepted them with humility. Her love for the crucified Lord was the center of her spiritual life.
Prayer
St. Gemma, you loved Jesus crucified with your whole heart. Help me to meditate on His Passion and to unite my sufferings with His.

Prayer to St. Gemma Galgani
O Saint Gemma, you were called the 'Daughter of the Passion' because of your deep love for Jesus crucified. You bore His wounds in your body and shared His sufferings with joy.
Obtain for me the grace to embrace my crosses with patience and love. Help me to see in every trial an opportunity to grow closer to Our Lord.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St. Gemma Galgani, pray for us. Amen.
