For Love of God
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who caused St. Catherine of Siena to blaze with divine love in contemplating the Lord's Passion and in serving Your Church, grant through her intercession that Your people, participating in the mystery of Christ, may exult with joy at the revelation of His glory.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Meditation
From her childhood, Catherine was consumed with love for God. At age six, she had a vision of Christ that set the course of her life. She later wrote: 'All the way to heaven is heaven, because He said, I am the Way.'
Her love was not mere sentiment but a burning fire that drove her to prayer, penance, and service. She is one of only four women named a Doctor of the Church.
Prayer
St. Catherine of Siena, you were consumed with love for God from your earliest years. Help me to grow in love for God and to make Him the center of my life.

Prayer to St. Catherine of Siena
O glorious St. Catherine of Siena, you burned with love for the Church and for truth. You fearlessly called popes and rulers to conversion and worked tirelessly for the reform of the Church.
Obtain for me the grace to love the Church as you did, to speak the truth with charity, and to work for unity and holiness. Help me to grow in prayer and to become consumed with divine love.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us. Amen.
