Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, Giver of all heavenly gifts, who in the angelic youth Saint Louis Gonzaga joined wonderful innocence of life to an equal spirit of penance, grant through his merits and intercession that we who have not followed him in innocence may imitate him in penance.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
Louis Gonzaga achieved remarkable holiness in just 23 years. He is the patron of youth because he shows that young people can be saints. His short life was filled with prayer, purity, and service.

O angelic St. Louis, you who preserved your innocence amid the temptations of a worldly court and died serving plague victims, obtain for me the grace to keep my heart pure and to serve Christ in the suffering.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
