Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who to show us the way of innocence made the soul of Your virgin Saint Scholastica ascend to heaven like a dove, grant through her intercession that we may live so innocently that we may merit to attain eternal joys.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
Scholastica is the foundress of Benedictine women's monasticism. She established communities of women who follow the Rule of St. Benedict, seeking God through prayer, work, and community life.
Benedictine nuns continue her legacy today. We pray for all contemplative women religious.
Prayer
St. Scholastica, foundress of Benedictine nuns, bless all women in religious life. Help them to seek God faithfully in prayer and community.

Prayer to St. Scholastica
O holy virgin Scholastica, your love was so powerful that it moved God to send a storm so that you might spend more time with your brother speaking of heavenly things. Obtain for me a heart burning with love for God and a deep life of prayer.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St. Scholastica, pray for us. Amen.
