Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who for the relief of the poor and the formation of the clergy endowed Saint Vincent de Paul with apostolic virtue, grant that we may be on fire with the same spirit and love what he loved and practice what he taught.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
Vincent de Paul discovered his vocation through serving the poor. He said, 'The poor are our masters; they are our kings; we must obey them.' He saw Christ Himself in every person in need.
This spiritual vision transformed his life. When we see Christ in the poor, charity becomes not a burden but a privilege.
Prayer
St. Vincent de Paul, you saw Christ in the poor. Open my eyes to see Him too. Help me to love and serve those in need as I would serve Christ Himself.

Prayer to St. Vincent de Paul
O glorious St. Vincent de Paul, patron of all charitable associations and father of those in misery, you never refused anyone who came to you for help.
Obtain from our Lord help for the poor, relief for the sick, consolation for the afflicted, and protection for the abandoned. Help me to be like you—to see Christ in the poor and to serve them with love.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
