For Conversion
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O Lord, you made St. Augustine a brilliant seeker after truth who found his rest only in You. Through his intercession, renew in Your Church the spirit of seeking You above all things, that we too may find our hearts restless until they rest in You.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Meditation
Augustine spent years wandering in sin and error, following the Manichean heresy and living an immoral life. Yet God never ceased pursuing him. Augustine wrote: 'You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.'
His conversion came in a garden in Milan when he heard a child's voice saying, 'Take and read.' Opening Scripture, he found the words that changed his life.
Prayer
St. Augustine, you experienced a profound conversion after years of sin. Pray for all who are far from God, that they may hear His call and return to Him.

Prayer to St. Augustine
O glorious St. Augustine, you wandered far from God in your youth, yet His grace pursued you until you surrendered completely to His love. You became one of the greatest teachers of the Church.
Pray for me that I may, like you, turn from sin and find my peace in God alone. Obtain for me the grace of true conversion, a deep knowledge of God's truth, and the fire of divine love.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St. Augustine, pray for us. Amen.
