For urgent intentions
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, You gave Saint Expedite the grace to respond immediately to Your call and to die for the faith without delay. Grant that through his intercession we may act promptly in doing Your will and receive speedy help in our urgent needs.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
St. Expedite is invoked for urgent matters because of his name and his legend. When the devil tried to make him delay his conversion, he crushed the temptation underfoot, declaring 'Today, not tomorrow!'
When we face pressing needs, we can turn to St. Expedite. He understands urgency and intercedes for quick assistance, always according to God's will.
Prayer
St. Expedite, patron of urgent causes, I present my pressing need to you. Intercede for me that I may receive a swift answer according to God's will.

Prayer to St. Expedite
O St. Expedite, you who were a brave Roman soldier and converted to Christianity, you fought against the devil who tried to delay your conversion with the word 'Tomorrow.' You crushed him under your feet saying 'Today!'
Help me to overcome procrastination and to act promptly in serving God. Obtain for me a swift answer to my urgent petition, if it be for the glory of God and the good of my soul.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St. Expedite, pray for us. Amen.
