For Courage
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
In the face of Your enemies, in the face of harassment, ridicule, and doubt, You sent Your young servant Joan as a champion of the Faith and defender of the innocent.
Grant through her intercession that we who struggle in the cause of justice may one day join her in Your eternal kingdom. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Meditation
At just seventeen years old, Joan of Arc approached the Dauphin of France and told him that God had sent her to lead his army. Though she was a simple peasant girl who could neither read nor write, she spoke with the authority of one who had heard the voice of God.
Her courage was not her own—it came from her complete trust in God's plan. She said, 'I am not afraid; I was born to do this.'
Prayer
St. Joan of Arc, you faced impossible odds with unwavering courage. Pray for me that I may have the courage to follow God's will, even when it seems impossible or when others doubt me.

Prayer to St. Joan of Arc
St. Joan of Arc, you were called by God at a young age to lead an army and save your nation. Though you faced doubt, mockery, and ultimately martyrdom, you never wavered in your faith or your mission.
Intercede for me that I may have your courage to follow God's will, no matter the cost. Help me to hear God's voice clearly and to respond with the same brave 'yes' that you gave.
Pray for all who are ridiculed for their faith, all who face impossible odds, and all who struggle to discern God's will.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
St. Joan of Arc, pray for us. Amen.
