In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
O God, who in Your providence chose Pope Saint John XXIII to shepherd Your universal Church and to call an ecumenical council for its renewal, grant through his intercession that we may always embrace the spirit of love and openness to the Holy Spirit.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Meditation
